The children in our Long Island shelters need warm clothing! Please help us by donating your gently used coats or jackets. Items can be given to group reps or placed in boxed labeled “Coats for Kids.” Contact Eileen Goldbach, Suffolk Council, 722-5390.

The Pioneers and Verizon have partnered to collect and reprogram cell phones to dial only “911” in an emergency. They are being donated to the Long Island Women’s Coalition for distribution. Contact the Pioneer Office at 631-661-5590.

Bring us your luggage!
Please donate new or gently used luggage, backpacks, duffel bags, tote bags and gym bags. Children going into foster care watch their clothing and belongings go into trash bags! The children also will be able to use the luggage for overnight visits, summer camps and going home. Please bring by the Pioneer office at:
